DESCRIPTION:The Chamber's Economic Outlook Forum has been held annually for over thirty years and we will be continuing this informative session virtually this year. The primary purpose of the event is to share the keynote speaker's perspective and insights regarding the economic prospects for the Commonwealth and Cape Ann in the coming year.\n\n \n\nThe forum will address the state and local response to the year-long COVID-19 pandemic and the path ahead to reopening and recovery. Panelists will include Mike Kennealy\, MA Secretary of Housing and Economic Development (EOHED)\; Marylou Sudders\, MA Secretary of Health and Human Services (EOHHS)\; and Jill Cahill\, Community Development Director for the City of Gloucester.\n\n \n\nSecretary Kennealy is responsible for advancing the Baker-Polito Administration's agenda to create economic opportunity for residents\, collaborative leadership in communities\, an environment that supports job creation and business growth\, and new housing for residents through targeted investments. Secretary Sudders oversees 12 agencies and MassHealth\, with a combined budget of $24 billion and 22\,000 public employees delivering essential services that touch the lives of 1 in 4 state residents. In March 2020\, she was appointed by Governor Charlie Baker to lead the state's COVID-19 Response Command Center.
