DESCRIPTION:Backyard Growers will be hosting a free seed giveaway at Burnham's Field\, outside the Community Garden.\n\nThe Community Seed Giveaway is open to the public to stop by and pick from a range of vegetable seeds\, as well as a small selection of flower seeds. Thanks to Corliss Brothers Nursery & Garden Center\, FedCo Seeds\, High Mowing Seeds\, Johnny's Seeds\, and Renee's Garden for donating free and discounted seeds to our community.\n\nVisit our Ask A Gardener booth with any questions you have about growing your own food\, from starting seeds to planting seedlings\, harvesting produce and naturally repelling pests.\n\nThere will also be a small table available for swapping seeds with other gardeners. If you do bring seeds to swap\, please ensure that they are in their original packaging so that other gardeners can read details like the germination date\, planting\, and harvesting instructions. We will provide coin envelopes for gardeners to take the number of seeds they need.\n\nPlease be respectful of other community members and wear a mask to this event. Hand-sanitizer will also be available.
