DESCRIPTION:Essex County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a program of Family Services of Merrimack Valley. We recruit\, train and supervise volunteers from the community to advocate for children removed from their homes because of abuse or neglect in the Lawrence\, Newburyport\, Salem\, and Lynn Juvenile Courts. CASA advocates work tirelessly in the child welfare and court systems to ensure that the health\, welfare and best interests of child victims are put first.\n\n\n\nThe CASA Taste of the Region fundraiser will feature bites from North Shore restaurants\, a cash bar\, the "Hesperus Rex" live band\, a silent auction\, and a paddle raise\, and will be emceed by Gloucester's own Jimmy Tarantino. Tickets are $25 each\, and can be purchased online at www.fsmv.org.  We hope to see you then!
