DESCRIPTION:The Cape Ann Community Foundation is excited to host its second annual Candlepins for a Cause at Cape Ann Lanes on Thursday\, June 5 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. Bring a team of bowlers to support the Foundation and take part in their grant awards presentations. Sign up with a team of six bowlers to fill a lane or sign up individually to be placed on a team. \n\n\n\nJoin us as we celebrate the organizations and programs supported by the Cape Ann Community Foundation and help raise funds to continue our work. Since 2015\, the Foundation has awarded $100\,000 in grants to non-profits in Essex\, Gloucester\, Manchester-by-the-Sea and Rockport\, using proceeds from the sales of the Cape Ann License Plate and supporter donations. We are assembling 16 teams of six bowlers at $200 for a full team of six. If you're an individual bowler\, the donation is $35\, and if you'd like to be there to cheer on our bowlers entry is a $20 donation to the Foundation. Everyone will have an opportunity to meet past grant recipients and acknowledge the organizations supported in the past.
