DESCRIPTION:Curious about yoga? Wanting to join a class but feel intimidated? Coming back to your mat and would like a refresher? This workshop is for you!\n\n\n\nJoin Sharon Esker to learn the foundations of a yoga practice. You can expect to learn the names and shapes of basic postures\, how to use props\, breathing techniques\, and the format of a vinyasa yoga class so you can feel comfortable on your mat and in the studio. Sharon teaches with great compassion and a sense of humor\, balancing joy with deep knowledge of movement\, breath\, and philosophy rooted this ancient practice.\n\n\n\nA yoga practice can provide an opportunity to feel grounded\, to cultivate a sense of creativity\, and to remind ourselves that we have the power to respond to what is happening in our lives - all vital qualities that we need to navigate our paths in our communities and in the world.\n\n\n\nTreetop Yoga is an inclusive community where all are welcome.
