June \;Art Show \;at \;Hammond Castle Museum
\n\n\;Gloucester\, MA \; \;Hammond Castle Museum \;will kick off the summer season celebrating the arts with \;June'\;s \;art exhibit featuring local artist\, Sue Ann Pearson. \;Each month\, \;Hammond Castle will offer a new exhibit showcasing local artists \;work in the newly \;expanded Museum Shop. \;Art enthusiasts are encouraged to come in and see the work which is available to purchase\, and while there enjoy the museum shop\, take a guided or self-guided tour of the castle\, or just enjoy the grounds.
\n\nPearson'\;s artwork has been a favorite of local Art Auctions\, and her paintings have shown in galleries including Mingo Gallery in Beverly\, Juried Shows at Montserrat College of Art\, The \;Firehouse Center for the Arts \;in Newburyport\, The Magnolia Summer Art Show\, Cafe \;di \;Sienna Gallery in Newburyport and juried show at The Cultural Center on Rocky Neck.
\n\nPearson&rsquo\;s art hangs in homes from Charleston\, South Carolina to Nova Scotia\, Canada and Berlin\, Germany. Her unique style of color and theme present a fresh look at her subjects\, whether a Cape \;Ann Summer\, Shore Road in Magnolia or Flowers from her Garden or her Neighbors Chickens. Pearson remarks that her paintings are &ldquo\;postcards from home \;&rdquo\;\, choosing to paint the everyday life around her\, seeking simple subjects to bring to life on canvas.
