DESCRIPTION:United Flamenco returns to Windhover for its third consecutive summer\, bringing together artists from across the country and from Spain in a shared spirit of creation\, discovery\, and flamenco expression. This powerful event is part of a residency at Windhover which brings these extraordinary artists together to hone their craft and create new expressions of flamenco.\n\nThe performance brings together two complementary dimensions of the art form with live music\, singing\, and dance: a new creative work in development that stretches the boundaries of traditional flamenco and a tablao-style cuadro performance. Performances: Saturday\, June 27\, 7:00PM and Sunday\, June 28\, 3:00PM. Approximate run time: 90 minutes with an intermission.\n\nAn additional free community event will be held on Sunday\, July 5 at 3:00PM\, offering an interactive community class and a short flamenco presentation by resident artists and students.\n\nPerformances are rain or shine.
