His tenure with the legendary Roomful of Blues in the late '70s catapulted him into the spotlight\, and his subsequent solo career has seen him collaborate with blues icons such as Hubert Sumlin\, B.B. King\, and Carlos Santana. Earl's contributions to the blues community extend beyond his performances\; he has also shared his expertise as an Associate Professor of Guitar at Berklee College of Music and through teaching at prestigious workshops.
